New work with director Josh Logan — and we're excited to welcome him to the ProFor roster! https://www.profor.com/directors/josh-logan

With a career spanning special makeup effects, visual effects, sound design, and post-production supervision, Josh has worked on titles including The Passion of the Christ, Apocalypto, Stoker, and Annabelle, among many others.

That depth across disciplines shapes how he directs. Having worked in every corner of a production, Josh brings a hands-on, technically grounded sensibility to his work that is hard to find.

His directorial credits include the award-winning short Lunch Ladies, selected by over 200 film festivals, and The Relic, currently in development as a feature franchise.

We're happy to share our latest collaboration: "Faire is Family" for Sherwood Forest Faire.

Great story from the set of Tulsa King, and one line from Stallone that stuck with us. It got us thinking about commercial content too. Is this era of quantity over quality a net positive? Are we writing, or just typing?

While Creative departments debate whether AI video is good enough for advertising (or if it ever will be), Legal departments scratch their heads over whether it's COMMERCIALLY SAFE for a brand to use.

Most popular tools train on unlicensed data, which creates legal exposure in paid media, broadcast, and global markets.

In this case study, we looked into how to satisfy both departments at once. We imagined a live-action shoot that needs just one AI shot traditional production couldn't handle on budget. Then we built the workflow: commercially licensed platforms, iterative prompting, and a hand-crafted post-production pass to make it hold up next to real footage.

Here's the full breakdown of the workflow and when this approach makes sense versus when it doesn't: https://www.profor.com/post/commercially-safe-ai

The stories that resonate, whether it's a scene or a spot, make people feel something.

Todd McMullen has spent 35 years proving it. He worked on Coppola's Dracula and Scorsese's Casino. He DP'd Friday Night Lights, shot The Newsroom for Sorkin, The Leftovers for HBO and Palm Royale for Apple TV, Tulsa King with Stallone, just wrapped Dutton Ranch for Taylor Sheridan, and much, much more.

As the line between real and generated content gets blurrier, "digital twins" start to feel a lot less hypothetical. They are already starting to change how content can be created around humans, products, and environments.

In our latest conversation, Mark Garza and Michael Toner dig into that shift and what it could mean for brands, marketers, and creative teams as AI driven workflows keep evolving.

What do you think this means for the future of content?

- And if product digital twins are of particular interest, here is our case study: https://www.profor.com/post/one-product-shoot-infinite-possibilities-intro-to-building-a-digital-twin-workflow

Just released: a conversation on AI and the future of content creation for brands with Mark Garza and Michael Toner

Watch the full interview: profor.com/talks

They get into the practical and strategic questions behind the hype: how these tools are changing production workflows, where human judgment still matters most, and how authenticity may become a bigger consideration as AI generated content becomes more common.

A thoughtful back and forth on what is changing, what is not, and what creative teams, marketers, and agency leaders should be paying attention to right now.

Huge thanks to Mark and Mike for joining us - can't wait to have you again!
