Speaker / Storyteller / Vagabond Then again, failure has never been Tom Nash’s favourite F-word.
It’s one thing to survive a life-threatening illness, it’s another to thrive thereafter; mesmerising audiences around the world as a Keynote Speaker, DJ, and quadruple amputee like it’s nobody’s business. A taste for disruptive ideas, and a generous pour of Bordeaux are recommended accompaniments for experiencing the full flavour of Tom’s thought-provoking perspectives; the power of pragmatism, se

Resilience has become the corporate equivalent of "𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳𝘴."
And I say that as someone who had to rebuild himself from scratch. 👇
The problem isn't that your people can't handle pressure.
It's that your system was designed to survive it — not grow from it.
There's a difference. A big one.
I recently sat down with CEOWORLD magazine to discuss why retention isn't a motivation problem, it's a design problem. Why telling your team to "bounce back" is quietly building scar tissue instead of culture. And why the companies bleeding talent aren't doing anything wrong, exactly — they've just optimised so hard for smooth sailing that any friction looks like failure.
True stability comes from building 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗲 teams. These are systems that actually get better when things get messy, rather than just enduring the chaos until someone snaps.
We dug into a few ideas:
• What losing my arms taught me about agency
• What Google figured out about bees (and you can too)
• How to build a team that grows stronger under pressure (without the ice baths).

Australia is currently treating new "hate speech" laws like the impulse-buy of a discounted fire extinguisher🧯
It seems an astute purchase at first until you find out it's filled with confetti the moment the house is actually on fire.🔥

Tim Urban — the man behind — thinks about himself in the third person — Past Tim, Future Tim, and the 225 half-hour Tims that make up each week.
It sounds insane until you realize he’s just found a way to see what most of us miss: we’re all screwing over our future selves, one avoided transition at a time.
This one’s about courage, jadedness, and why the 20-year-old version of you isn’t actually gone.

🎤 I rarely like to hold microphones during talks… 🎤 not just because it looks like I’m pointing a huge black d***o directly at my face, but because I talk with my hooks as much as an old Italian man does with his hands while speaking passionately about the best Porchetta in town.
It’s weird how some habits persist even when you loose the appendage that performed them 😂
Thanks to for having me at their kick off event last week — love a crowd that loves to laugh 😂🍸🎤
