Ever wondered how much luggage you can bring on a Hitch trip? Whether you can bring a pet on your ride? How much a ride costs? What routes we service?

The answers to these questions and many others are all in the help center. Head into your profile in the app and scroll down to ‘Help’ to access.

A couple weeks ago, we launched trip status. Part of that update included in-app navigation: the ability for drivers to seamlessly navigate their drives through the app.

Riders should get excited too because this build means you’ll have the most accurate location of your driver. It’s also laying the groundwork for future builds that uphold our commitment to providing you with a safe and timely ride.

Spring weather is well underway and with Earth Day this weekend, here’s a destination that will get you outdoors. Head to the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville. The gardens feature 68 acres that comprise 24 collections, including the largest public display of bamboo in Florida.

This week we’re introducing a scoring system for our drivers. The driver score provides a complete view of recent ratings from riders over a variety of factors such as timeliness, cleanliness, and driving quality.

These ratings were designed to reflect the quality expectations of our driver community standards (found in the help center) and ensure our best drivers are recognized for their commitment to these standards.

Gainesville, FL

This Saturday, head to the Hogtown craft beer festival right outside of Gainesville in Micanopy, Florida. Tickets for the festival guarantee beer tastings from over 30 breweries. Avoid driving by using our door-to-door service to get dropped off right at the festival, then Hitch a ride home after the day’s festivities. 🍻
