Iβm doing it for 19 year old Athena. The girl who KNEW what her dreams were but was offered an adventure of a lifetime elsewhere.
She had to trust future me, me today, that I would not give up on her younger dreams. That I would make them happen, even if I were pulled in another direction at first.
Thatβs what it felt like when I was 20. The next year was when I started taking a modeling career seriously but was still attempting to finish undergrad. I had to make the hard choice, if I was going to be successful in both of these I MUST do them at different times.
It was the best decision I couldβve made for doing both careers. I did both. But at different times. And it was the best timing. I didnβt see it that way then, but I do now and I am SO GLAD I made that choice.
So I know Iβve shared A LOT about this graduation. But for me this was something that I really wasnβt sure Iβd ever do. And I am so glad I did.
So hereβs to us, Athena! Past-self, current-self, and future-self all align in this moment. π©·ππͺ

just canβt get enough of this song with my grad content π₯Ή because it just means so much.
That ID was from 2011, my second year of undergrad research at the Hayden Planetarium in NYC. I graduated for HER. The girl who dreamed of this moment but was so torn between careers. She took a leap of faith not knowing if she would ever finish her degree. She hoped and believed she would, but had room for doubt. Which wiser Athena now knows, there is absolutely no room for doubt! If you believe you can achieve something DO IT. make it happen. Donβt let there be any room for doubt.
If I can do it so can you π«Άππ πβοΈ with a little bit of stardust and high heels.
YOU GOT THIS!!!!!
ok Starbucks isnβt like a major highlight but itβs a small win to kick off a weekend of changed plans and unexpected adventure ππ
who says you can only have 1 graduation cap? π
This was one of my FAVORITE segments on πππͺ
Itβs all about how you can best observe the night sky. With my top stargazing tips that have helped me from stargazing in NYC to the wide open skies of 10,000 feet above sea level in Hawaii!
If you havenβt already gotten yourself a pair of binoculars (I HIGHLY recommend it)!!!!
Happy stargazing!!! π
