Vibrant stained glass and colorful art? Count us in!
The Province, a 50-year-old defunct church, was reconstructed and most recently renovated as a student housing development. Rather than downplay the vibrant stained glass in the clubhouse, the designer let it inform the design. Ultimately, it was the catalyst for the thoughtful color-blocking seen throughout the space, as well as the art commissions and selections. See more here: https://metgal.art/results/boulder

Art is meant to strike a conversation. Each piece we curated for Google's East Austin office is a celebration of the diverse and inclusive community life of the neighborhood. Spanning six floors and nearly 150 pieces of art, we worked closely with STG Design to create an intentional and layered package taking cues from regional staples, from East Austin Studio Tour to ethnic eateries.
The commissioned pieces were created to keep East Austin roots planted within the design. Whether the past or present, every corner that Googlers turn brings a piece of the neighborhood and its inhabitants into focus and into a conversation.

Hot off the press! Tribeza sat down with met/gal for their Architectural Issue to get little insight on how artists use their work to tell the cultural narrative of local companies—and just how important those stories are.
“It’s more than just a one-time purchase—it’s a form of advocacy for that entire community.” — Mia Abigail Baxter
