My name is MichL. I'm an artist and teacher living in Austin, tx. I love painting, drawing, and ceramics. Now I've become addicted to thrifting.

Recently, I've returned to my love of sewing and crocheting. I keep some and I've started selling the rest.

Just some of the things I’ve discovered lately. The paperweight is for my hubby for his birthday. One of the little bowls is Waterford crystal. Just $2! I love the big crystal cornucopia. I’m puzzled by the thick , shallow bowl. Could it be an ashtray? No clues.

Found this little cubbie. Thought it would be perfect for my teacups and such. You can hand it and I would like to but I don’t have any wall space. So set it on table. Does it look to cluttered? Should I paint the cubbies pink or something?

So I have spent so many years making jewelry and I still enjoy making it but more now just for me and friends. Occasionally, to sell. Many years ago I rediscovered sewing, taught myself how to crochet and I found it very calming. Then by chance I rediscovered thrifting! As a kid my grand-mother took me to every garage sell she could find. I went to thrift stores and flea markets in high school and college. I am so addicted to it again. Finding that unique item, a rare find, and something I can't live without.
So I decided to gather my collection and share with others.

I have been loving getting back into thrifting. Used to do it al the time in high school and college. I can't resist vintage finds that sparkle and shine. I've been posting items to Facebook Marketplace but I thought why not post here as well. I didn't make 'em but I found them.

I've been making tired trays with vintage china. Use them for a tea party or to organize your jewelry. I love using china and etched glass pitchers or vases for storage. My paint brushes, makeup brushes, cotton balls, etc. i even made some vanity trays from old frames. I’ll be bringing these to ACR Spring Market this Sunday.
