My Story
Berg, real name Alexandra Berglof is a Swedish American pop singer songwriter from London. Berg writes alternative indie-pop tunes that combine symphonies of harmonies and synths with honest lyrics. As a child she trained as a classical pianist in Stockholm and now performs live concerts online with her piano.
Berg buried her past and created a new life, but in her 20s the trauma of her childhood began to surface. Now through her music, Berg writes about her emotional ups and downs in hope that others can relate. By creating musical worlds that the listener can escape into, Berg’s melodies and lyrics not only reflect our moods, but inspire us to feel - and hopefully heal.
“I always felt I needed to hide my emotions and pretend that everything was fine. I have learnt that those feelings don’t go away, they linger just under the surface until something breaks through. The only real language for feelings that works for me--is music,” says Berg.
