If you’re trying to get to Bryan’s regular 5pm Weekly Comic Workshop, it might be tricky this week and next: The Austin Card House in the same shopping center as Half Price Books (our host) is itself hosting the World Series of Poker Championships. Parking is quite, QUITE difficult, and in fact the parking lot itself is like something out of a Tim Burton Batman movie. Please be careful!

Buttons from Dave Cockrum’s Nightcrawler 1980s Limited Series! Nightcrawler in the middle, then going clockwise we have a Bamf, Sehv the Oracle (a caricature of Silver Age Marvel Great Marie Severin), Cretaceous Sam, and Dark Bamf!

Happy Moonshot Easter 2026! We held our annual Easter Egg Hunt yesterday, in which Bryan makes a drawing, Selah colors it, then we cut it up and hide it in the eggs, and the kids have to reassemble! This one is also a good example of how Selah is not just our “editor” but makes meaningful creative decisions all through the process. At the beginning, Bryan wanted the most egg-shaped part of this drawing… the Moon… to be a CRESCENT! Selah convinced him otherwise.

Come meet Pathway Comics Saturday at Round Rock High’s Kids and Teen Comic Con! With the news of Tatjana Wood’s passing, Bryan made a couple of buttons out of some old (and damaged) back issues he had laying around: 80s Swamp Thing which Ms. Wood colored, and a scene from her husband’s contribution to Mad #1… Which she may also have contributed to, uncredited.
