Things didn’t go wrong… they just led me somewhere more honest. Growing will shift you…and if you’re paying attention, it’ll bring you back to what actually matters. #🚂

Things have been shifting for a while now.
Not overnight… years of it.
New music. New direction. Something that finally feels like me after an already long and fruitful career.
But the biggest excitement right now is building something deeper around all this change.
The Knight Train.
If you want to be closer to the music and the process, you can join. It’s open and has a free tier right now for the people who want to experience the story's behind the stories. The link is in my bio! 🫡

Somewhere along the way, a lot of us were taught that quitting was safer than trying.
Not always directly… but in the silence, the tension, the moments that told us who we were wasn’t enough unless we made life easier for everyone else around us.
So now… every time the dream gets hard, not impossible, just inconvenient.. those old echoes get loud:
“Maybe this isn’t for you.”
“Maybe you should just be realistic.”
“Maybe you should stop.”
And if you don’t catch it, you start giving up… not on the dream but on yourself.
I’ve felt that pull more times than I can count.
Especially lately when I feel more successful as a singer than ever. Life has a way of bringing old weight back to the surface when you’re already carrying enough.
But here’s the truth I’m learning in real time:
Just because something feels familiar… doesn’t mean it’s right.
And just because it’s hard… doesn’t mean it’s not yours. Please read that part again ⬆️
Some of us weren’t taught how to keep going when it's about following our dreams.
So now we have to learn it, in the middle of the storm.

I’ve got something big to share…
I’m officially a FINALIST in the — in the Folk/Singer-Songwriter category.
Out of over 13,000 songs… it’s been narrowed down to just 13.
And I’m one of them.
This one hits different. Not just because of the numbers, but because of what it represents, years of writing, failing, growing, showing up night after night, and believing something like this was possible even when it didn’t look like it.
Now my song will be heard and judged by artists like , and many more incredible voices in the industry.
If I take it all the way, it means a $20,000 prize and opportunities that could truly change the trajectory of my career.
But right now, I need yall in this with me.
There’s also a People’s Choice Award section and that’s where you come in!
Your vote won’t decide the main winner… but it will decide if I take home that People’s Choice title and that would mean the world to me to win both categories!
If you’ve ever supported me, come to a show, streamed a song, or just believed in what I’m building thank you, truly.
👉 Head to the link in my bio
👉 Vote once a day
👉 Voting is open until April 17
Let’s see how far we can take this together.
Much love yall, this is just the beginning.
