About an hour from Austin, Ottine Mineral Springs has reopened to the public after a full restoration of its historic 1909 bathhouse and grounds.🌀 What to expect:• Five mineral-rich pools with temps ranging from cold plunge to hot soak• Two private spring-fed pools (around 102°F), cold plunge, sauna, and fire pits• Quiet lounging areas under oak trees, with hammocks and shaded seating• A clothing-optional courtyard with a more secluded, relaxed atmosphere• On-site food, drinks, massage options, lockers, and outdoor showersThe water comes from a 1,500-ft-deep artesian well, part of the Carrizo-Wilcox Aquifer—naturally alkaline and full of minerals that are said to be good for your skin and circulation.🎟️ Day passes start at $65, with arrival windows in the morning or afternoon.
