Training for the Big Bend 400 continues. On Saturday, Jan 6th, I will be doing a 7-hour hill country ride on the dirt roads around Llano. I am extending an invitation to anyone who would like to join me to ride some or all of my planned route. Meet me at the courthouse in Llano at 9:30 am with a full tank of gas. Stands up at 10 am.

I have two loops planned for Saturday. The 150-mile-long north loop leaves Llano and goes to San Saba and back (via dirt). The other loop is a 135-mile-long loop west of Llano (and also includes as much dirt as possible).

My goal is to complete both loops in no more than 7 hours.

I am planning on riding my Honda CB500X adventure bike.
