Sounds simple and maybe that’s because it is simple, but when I’m actually committing to five days a week of working out/walking, the art sales and art ideas are in such a better flow state! Drop a comment below if this resonates, or if you have a success hack of your own 👇
Comment PERSONAL and I’ll send you my masterclass on building an unforgettable personal brand as an artist. ✨ Before I became a full-time artist, I spent 12 years in PR coaching CEOs and executives across industries. And there was one thing that was true no matter the company, title, or industry: The people who grew the fastest were crystal clear on who they were, what they stood for, and why people should pay attention. The same is true for artists. Talent matters. But clarity converts. If collectors (or followers) can’t quickly understand who you are and what makes you different, they move on. Here are a few ways to build a stronger personal brand as an artist: • Stop trying to speak to everyone. Speak to one dream collector. • Share the story behind your work—not just the finished piece. • Lean into what makes you different, even if it feels repetitive to you. • Create visual consistency across your art, photography, and content. • Let people get to know the human behind the artwork. • Repeat your message often. Your audience needs repetition far more than you think. • Share your values, lifestyle, and inspirations—not just your products. • Remember: people buy from artists they feel connected to. Your personal brand is what people say about you when you’re not in the room. And in a world where incredible art is everywhere, your story is often the thing that makes someone choose you. What’s one word you hope people associate with your brand? 👇

Comment QUIZ and I'll send it to you 👇 Most artists think they have a pricing problem. Or an audience problem. Or an algorithm problem. But after $2M+ in art sales and years of coaching visual artists — I've seen the same four blockers show up over and over again. The tricky part? Each one requires a totally different fix. This quiz takes 2 minutes and tells you exactly which one is yours.
Comment QUIZ and I'll send it to you 👇 There are only 4 reasons your art isn't selling. Type 1 — collectors don't know you exist. Type 2 — they follow you but don't trust you enough to buy. Type 3 — you have an audience full of the wrong people. Type 4 — collectors are watching but something is stopping them from pulling the trigger. Until you know which one is yours, nothing you try is going to stick. I built a free 2-minute quiz that tells you exactly which type you are — and what to do about it. Comment QUIZ and I'll send it straight to your DMs.
Comment **BUNDLE** and I'll send it to you. I think we've made selling art way harder than it needs to be. For years, I thought success would come from creating better work, posting more often, or waiting for the "right" collector to find me. What finally changed everything was realizing that most artists don't have an art problem. They have a marketing problem. When I learned how to create content that attracted collectors, nurture relationships with repeat buyers, and turn Instagram into a sales tool instead of just a portfolio, my art business completely changed. Since then, I've sold over $2 million worth of art. If you're creating beautiful work but struggling to make consistent sales, it's probably not your talent holding you back. Comment **BUNDLE** and I'll send you the exact guides, templates, and strategies I use.
Something no one knows about me is that I’m actually really shy.
Which is funny, considering I’ve spent the last 8 years sharing my life, my art, and my thoughts with thousands of people on the internet.
The truth is, showing up online didn’t come naturally to me. Neither did talking on camera, sharing personal stories, or putting myself out there.
But I’ve learned that confidence isn’t something you have before you start. It’s something you build by doing.
Some of the best things in my life have happened because I was willing to be uncomfortable.
So if you’re waiting until you feel “ready,” this is your sign to start anyway. 🤍
Comment “bundle” to get started showing up as authentically you…to sell more art
At 34, I was a stay-at-home mom with two little boys and a creative itch I couldn’t ignore.
I had no formal art training.
No gallery connections.
No huge following.
Just a desire to create something that was mine.
So I made a few rules for myself:
1. Post consistently even when nobody is watching.
2. Show your face, not just your art.
3. Ask for the sale.
4. Follow up on inquiries.
5. Build an email list from day one.
6. Reach out to designers instead of waiting to be discovered.
7. Say yes before you feel ready.
That’s it.
No fancy strategy.
No overnight success.
Just small actions repeated over and over again.
A few years later, those “silly little rules” have helped me sell over $2.1M worth of art.

Are you doing the Yap Challenge? Let me know! I think it’s a great kick in the pants to do even more authentic and relatable videos! Remember, people buy the artist not just the art! Drop your thoughts below and thanks for the inspo
Most artists aren’t losing sales because of their art.
They’re losing sales because they’re terrified of what happens after the sale.
“What if it breaks?”
“What if shipping costs too much?”
“What if I don’t know how to crate it?”
“What if something goes wrong?”
I get it. I had all of those fears too.
Since starting my art business, I’ve shipped over $2 million worth of artwork across the country, and I’ve learned that shipping doesn’t have to be complicated.
In fact, once you have a simple system in place, it becomes one of the easiest parts of running your business.
Inside my Art Shipping Guide, I share exactly how I ship originals, commissions, framed pieces, large-scale works, and everything in between—plus the vendors, tools, and resources I use myself.
Don’t let shipping be the reason you stay small.
