I can’t stand it any longer. It’s been too long. I’m going to have to make that movie.

I’ve been working on trying to publish some stories I want to make into an anthology horror film, but I forgot I already have a horror movie written. 

It’s been in my head and in my computer for decades. Originally I tried to shoot it as a student film, but the actor bailed twice so I cut it as  a trailer.

Then I shot it as my thesis film 23 minutes long.

I’ve workshopped the hell out of it and I’m done with that. 

I suppose watching low budget horror movies, and reconnecting last night with my friend who helped me make my student film and just really that Anais Nin quote.

Man, I had a great summer. Two publications one right after the other. I've got five other stories out for consideration.
I'm very happy with Bus on Dark Road. A guy trying to get home worries about the crazy homeless guy, but a bigger threat shows up. This is a monster story.

I currently have five short stories out to mags. That's the most I've ever had. I published two stories in 94, one in 13. I wasn't trying hard enough, so I'm trying again. So far this summer two short stories.

Went to work today. First thing my boss says is, "Fred, you're off today." I forgot I had taken the day off. So here I am.

Well, here we go. My goal this year was to get published. I guess my new goal is to stay that way. I do still have copies of my two stories from 1994 and the one from 2013. This time I just have to keep going. These are horror stories. Act accordingly.
