Izzy found out about our last writers’ workshop just two days before it happened.

She had never heard of Steve or me but had a dream to write a book. It had been on her bucket list for years.

She joined us and began writing, and when we asked her why this book mattered to her, she said that she wanted her children to know how her early life shaped who she was and why she made choices that she did.

He spent the majority of her adulthood working as a hospital administrator. She was a highly respected executive and had just retired. She had beat cancer several years earlier but she was estranged from her children.

She finally wrote her memoir and with our help published her book to fulfill her life long desire.

A few months later we received and email from her daughter, who we didn’t know and she told us that Izzy had passed away from cancer that returned to her body, but that she was grateful for us helping her mother write her book and make her dreams come true.

The content of the book, had brought her and her mother closer together before she died and that she was so grateful.

Writing a book is more than just a business card or social proof of your prowess , it can change lives.
