I'm sad to say that HFEST is not going to happen this year. I have some challenging life changes that will be taking all of my attention. But keep a lookout as we will be in full force for next year.

HFEST IS not happening this year. So sorry for the late info. Getting married this month took all my time. Next year will be the coming out party!

Another year that HFEST will be on hold. Until we can all agree to get a simple shot and stop this pandemic we do not want to risk anyone’s health and safety.

So should happen this year?
I've always loved Halloween, as most children do. But when I won a middle school Halloween costume contest, it's been my favorite holiday of the year. This is why I created HFEST, because I was not alone.
I've been putting off this post for a long time now hoping something would change, but it's time to face reality. Thanks to our current Idiot in Cheif, Americans are dying in the COVID-19 pandemic at rates far higher than in other countries. HFEST is about helping people, not hurting them. So for our safety and yours, HFEST will not be happening this year.
Our current state of the union is in a very scary place. And if it were not for the lack of leadership of this administration HFEST would have been on Halloween this year. It will not be until 2026 when October 31st is on a Saturday.
Whatever your politics are please think about your family, friends, and fellow Americans' health and safety in the voting booth. Can we keep going in this direction for another four years?
