What a busy week we have had here! Fixed a family home computer, and was also able to recover their daughters baby photos. That was a good day! Also someone tried to take us for a check fraud scam over the internet. Word of advice, don't scam computer nerds over the internet!

Lot of good things happening today for Fixed In A Flash! First, we can now accept all credit and debit thanks to PayPal Here, and the first customer of the week has already had their pc picked up, and is on it's way to being fixed. Good things are to come so stay tuned!

Do not be tricked by Scarware. Scareware is malware that scares you into sending them money, such as a fake virus scanner. The most popular one was called the FBI Virus, which basically hid all your files, and directed to a webpage that explains that your computer has been locked bt the FBI due to illegal activity and a fee must be paid to unlock the computer. DO NOT PAY ANYTHING! Here are a few pictures of what some of the virus's may appear as. They may look legitimate, but software requesting money is usually fake.

Virus can mask themselves and legitimate software. Sometimes they are just silly, like this one. Ha
