My dad encouraged me to open a booth at Painted Tree, and I’m so glad he did—I had a blast. He recognized the opportunity right away: a retail space with a central checkout at a fraction of what it would cost to do on my own.

It’s a great concept, and I know it works. I hope someone sees the opportunity here—the infrastructure is already in place—and brings these now-empty spaces back to life. They once held so much creativity, humanity, and the best kind of commerce: small businesses.
