CURe is a non-profit organization (501c3) determined to get to YES for compassionate use for patients who want to fight to LIVE. Most patients hear NO.
Compassionate use is how terminally and chronically ill patients can access experimental drugs when they want to fight to LIVE—when standard treatments haven’t worked and they can’t get into clinical trials. Here’s the problem: Before patients can even ask for government approval for compassionate use, the drug company needs to say YES. We saw our friends’ families devastated by NO, denied the chance to fight to live. We started CURe (Compassionate Use Reform) to make compassionate use work for patients and their families. CURe is launching two core programs:
INFO HUB—an online guide to help patients and families navigate the compassionate use process
SOLUTION HUB—CURe will collaborate with patients, drug companies, doctors, and government to build practical, win-win solutions to get drug companies to YES
