It's a beast, and the blue + stainless looks great and works well with my nameplate. It's even lighter than REP's AB 5200 and had more back pad settings!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀  
However, after using 12" and 14" grippy pads on my 5200, this 11", standard vinyl pad feels like... a compromise. Of course, I'm a tall guy with a pretty wide upper body. Most average height folks will probably be fine with the width, and maybe even grateful that it's at least 11" rather than 10".

But hey, it's my first session with it. Who knows how I'll feel tomorrow.

This Vulcan Prime Half Rack is coming together, and so far I'm impressed. There's some other accessories that I haven't installed yet... one that I'm super stoked about... and I'll share that soon (as well as more details and images of the rack itself.)

I will say this... very beefy rack, and the plate horns are so badass. Also the spotter arms rival even Rogue's Monster Arms. Very cool!

I've had the 30" GymPin D-Handle Bar for about a week now and I have tried numerous movements with it. So far, I think it's pretty damn cool, with the only drawback being my height. That is to say, I am forced to lean back somewhat to get full range of motion (a good stretch.)

Currently I am using Rep's steel handles because they are the shortest ones I own at the moment, but I have my eyes open for alternatives that hang a little closer to the bar. I have a tall large tower so a little extra height from shorter handles would go a long way.

Does anyone have any handle/grip suggestions? I'm enjoying how natural this feels versus a fixed lat bar, but I think the key to never going back to said fixed bar; at least at my height; is to find shorter handles.

I widened my PR-4000 by 2", for two reasons...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀  
First, I found the lever arm handles to be too close together for my size. This gets them further apart.

Second, I'm able to use the 43" Rogue seat on this rack now, which is extremely convenient for me. I'm not sure why REP's 4000 spotters have 1" holes but I'm super glad they do!

Certainly not a new idea to use Rogue's Utility Seat for preacher curls, but it is one that I find works pretty well if you're willing to take the time to set it up.

made a valid point about this not being the most comfortable way to bust out some curls, to which I agree, but it's not uncomfortable to the point of being painful, and everything from height and angle is customizable.

Would I buy the Utility Seat and LT-1 Trolley simply to get access to preacher curls? Hell no! But if you got them both, have at it!
