We have a three-fold mission:
1) Operate a pregnancy resource center to support moms and save babies
2) Offer community education to inspire a generation that protects human life
3) Provide OB/GYN care that is aligned with Catholic teaching and available to patients of any faith background through Vitae Clinic
Anyone can change! Join us in protecting the preborn and helping their moms today! π

Today is the Feast of the Holy Innocents. πΌπΌ
On this day we remember the massacre of young children, babies, and the preborn by King Herod. This was his attempt to kill the infant Jesus. These children are regarded as the first martyrs for Christ.
The killing of life was a tragedy then and still a tragedy that continues to happen today. Let us always pray for the end to abortion, the protection of life, and for the continuous aid to moms and families.
Holy Innocents, first martyrs, pray for us and our life-saving work! π

Merry Christmas season! Letβs remember that the God of all creation was once a preborn baby and give thanks for the unexpected pregnancy that changed the world! βοΈπ

Merry Christmas from our JPII family to yours! May the birth of our Lord Jesus constantly inspire us of the joy new life brings and how new life can change the world! π π½βοΈπ

Here are some ideas for how you can walk with women in need this Advent and Christmas season! πβοΈ

Today is the Catholic feast of the Immaculate Conception. As we anticipate the birth of our Lord, let us look to Mary as an example of faithfulness to God's will who always points us to our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Thank you to St. William Catholic Church for sending a HUGE donation of diapers and essentials for our clients this afternoon! Our closet will surely be stocked for the holidays! πΆπ»π

Shoutout to our Outreach Coordinator Claire Bordelon and her husband Rod for picking up and delivering the items!

Happy National Adoption Day! Adoption saves lives! We are so thankful for the first mothers who choose adoption and the adoptive mothers who open their hearts and homes. π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦π

Christina visited our Center believing abortion was her only choice because she was months behind on rent and facing eviction. "There's no way I can have this baby without a roof over my head", she told us.
But after seeing her baby boy on an ultrasound and learning she could receive rent assistance from us, she was determined to make things work for her child. She has now given birth to a beautiful and healthy baby boy!
Supporters like you make it possible for mothers like Christina to access sustainable resources and choose life for their babies. Learn how you can help mothers and families in need this holiday season at www.jpiilifecenter.org/thankful-survey

What are you thankful for this year?
Maybe you're thankful to have a roof over your head. Maybe you're thankful for the food in your fridge and pantry. Maybe you're simply thankful for the resources needed to support yourself and your family.
Unfortunately, many mothers and families in Central Texas do not have access to these basic necessities. This holiday season, we need your help to make sure each mom is able to comfortably enjoy festivities with their children.

How can you help moms in unexpected pregnancies? Walk alongside them. π€°π»πΆπΎββοΈThis is what we are doing at the JPII Life Center. Consider joining our mission today!

On World Orphan Day, we want to take a moment to talk about foster care.
Meet Richard and Judy Ames, a couple who serves on JPII Life Center's Board of Directors and has cared for over 70 foster babies since 1995. They shared their moving testimony of the joy, difficulty, and love that comes from being foster parents.

Cassie, one of our Marketing Specialists, participated as a panelist at the 2022 Rehumanize Conference hosted by Rehumanize International last weekend! Rehumanize International is a human rights nonprofit that promotes pro-life advocacy through the lens of the Consistent Life Ethic.
Cassie spoke alongside Kateri W. of Rehumanize Madison and Dr. Michael New of the Charlotte Lozier Institute about our growing demand for services in wake of the new Texas abortion legislation. Thank you to Herb Geraghty and the rest of Rehumanize for the opportunity to share our pro-life, pro-woman message to an INTERNATIONAL audience!

Thank you, Catholic Spirit, for your support and for sharing about our life-saving and transformational work! π

On Wednesday night, JPII Life Center joined UTβs University Catholic Center, where our own Abigail Borah led the session titled βLife After Roe: Whatβs Next?β.
In this talk, she shared her background in the pro-life movement and equipped students with apologetics and knowledge about the life-affirming resources available to women in Texas. The students were very receptive and eager to strengthen their pro-life advocacy! Thank you to the UCC for hosting us!
(Fun fact: Abigail and Cassie are both Texas Exes and UCC alum! π€π»)

We are so excited to have Dr. Haywood Robinson as our keynote speaker at our Life is Beautiful GALA! β¨
Dr. Robinson is a Texas-based family and sports medical doctor, the Director of Medical Affairs and Education for 40 Days for Life, and an associate professor at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. Early in their careers, Dr. Robinson and his late wife Noreen helped perform abortions until a radical faith conversion opened their eyes. Dr. Robinson has now become a champion for the preborn, sharing the shocking truth of the abortion industry from his first-hand experience.

In a post-Roe USA, letβs never stop praying for the end to abortion and walking alongside moms in need!
Check out Vitae Clinic, Inc. and Free Pregnancy Help TX for maternity and reproductive help.

Together, we can save babies and build stronger families for the future.
