Are you wondering why we (and other salons) are not offering blowdrying service right now?

We understand it’s a bummer and in all honesty it makes our job harder as well.

World renowned infectious diseases specialist and the CDC are advising salons lay-off recirculating air, and potentially spreading the air born virus further than the 6 feet social distancing we have in place.

Austin is starting to surge in cases and we want to do what is best for us and our community.

We are happy to help with the health of your hair with complementary Oribe or Schwarzkopf hair treatments to give your locks some extra protection as the summer sun comes out in full force.

Our home away from home has been a little lonely lately.

Unfortunately, salons were not a part of phase 1 of reopening Texas.

I’m not going to lie this one has taken me a while to process.

I’ve been in denial until now... when shelter in place was first announced, I thought It’s two weeks, we’ll be fine we can catch up, it will just be hectic.

Two weeks was extended to four, four has turned into six and, now if we are allowed to return on May 18th it will be 8 weeks since we’ve been in the salon.

Longer than I have ever been away from the salon ever.

I’ve passed denial, had my moments of complete meltdown knowing my business was losing money everyday.

Now I’m angry. Hairstylist, lash artists, nail techs are taught from the very beginning how to sanitize and care the health of our guests.

To all of our guest, you will continue to receive your reminders, it’s the only way we can keep of who needs to be rescheduled when this is over.

Travis county is currently in shelter in place until at least April 30th, so don’t be alarmed drive by and see us boarded up.
