The fact that scientists see an association does not mean a cause & effect relationship. Another association is the increase in Alzheimer’s with artificial light since Tomas Edison invented the light bulb. Actually, it’s the bluish spectrum of light, and how it interferes with melatonin production and sleep. Real evidence, at least in mouse brains, shows that during deep sleep the neurons shrink to let cerebral fluid circulate faster and flush out toxins. The buildup of Tao and Amyloid protein can create plaque and tangles associated with Alzheimer’s. That comes closer to real science than what’s reported here.
