I highly recommend disconnecting and going outside in nature.
With everything that’s going on in our lives, it’s so easy to get all tangled up in our own heads with worry or stress, anxiety & life’s struggle.
Been gone on vacation for 10 days and hiked the mountains and trails everyday. It was powerful and the shot in the arm I really needed.
(No pun intended)
Thoreau went to the woods often and embraced living simply and in harmony with nature. We can attest to the power of a walk in the woods, every time we go hiking we return to the trailhead physically tired, yet mentally rejuvenated.
Coming home on the drive back, I felt the anxiety I had shed off while being in nature try to sneak back into my mind.
Had to bitch slap those negative vibes!
Cannot wait to be back in the salon tomorrow and see my clients & coworkers and get back to creating beautiful hair.
So grateful for the reset.

Created a Soft face frame & those those gorgeous eyes are popping! Love this partial foilayage technique on brunettes. Impactful results with less foil toil, know what I mean? I might highlight this on a live or on my stories. Would you be interested in seeing this versatile technique?
Why do they call it the money piece?
Because all of the lightness is focused around the front hairline which opens up the face and elongates the neck and is reality fresh and feminine . Cha Ching!
Warmth is not a bad thing, if it’s the right tone. Created this dimensional color with grey coverage that looks so natural on her skin tone & eye color. Dry cut for movement & a lived in shape.
I took this with my iPhone,no filters in natural light.
Long, full hair may be the standard (thanks, old-school shampoo commercials!), but in reality, it's far from the norm. There are a lot of reasons someone might have thinner hair, from genetics to postpartum hair loss. And while hair thinning is more common as we get older, anyone of any age can have thin hair, or fine hair (aka hair that's physically smaller in diameter than its fuller counterparts). That's why, as always, the right haircut can be a total game-changer.
Typically, I recommend blunt haircuts or haircuts with very little layering for thin hair because you don’t want to remove density from the ends. There are still ways to add shape by face-framing or adding minimal 'hidden layers.
Fresh balayage & dry cut. Styled with mousse & dry texture spray
It’s been over a year since I’ve seen
Had so much fun with this Bob with fringe cut and foilayage color.
Quick TIP for those with fringe, when blow drying, use a paddle brush to smooth out bangs.
Section out your bangs from the rest of the hair after applying a heat protectant , Use a flat paddle brush to brush your bangs all to one side of your forehead. Angle the dryer so that the warm air shoots over the hair. Don't dry your hair all the way--focus instead on getting the roots dry so that you don't have cowlicks messing up your fringe.
Brush your bangs in the opposite direction across your forehead. Make sure the air from the blow dryer is always following the movement of your brush. If you are working with a lot of hair, try drying it in smaller sections, moving it gradually across your brow.
Keep brushing your hair back and forth across your forehead until your roots are dry.
Hold the flat brush under your bangs, right against your roots, and blow dry straight down your hair. Your bangs should be completely dry after a few seconds.

Help! How do I make my new gorgeous blonde last all summer you ask?
I have some helpful at home hair care tips just for you blondie…
Protect Your Hair With an SPF, preferably plant oil based.
Reach for a Rich Mask, one that nourishes & moisturizes.
Invest in a Shower Filter & definitely use a non sulphate shampoo & conditioner.
Skip the Shampoo, avoid washing hair daily it can pull out your natural oil, try rinsing with warm water & conditioner instead.
Boost Color With a Tinted Conditioner, they tend to me more hydrating.
I also recommend adding conditioner to your ends before jumping in the water, If chlorine is in play, wet your hair down with tap water beforehand. If you can, allow your hair to air-dry instead of breaking out the blow-dryer in warmer months
Happy Summer y’all! Reach out with any questions or to book your next appointment.

Can’t believe it’s been a whole year since we’ve come done her hair!
Natural low maintenance lived in look.
Real talk about why I cut hair dry......cutting hair wet is a guess—an educated guess—but a guess, nonetheless. When hair is wet you can’t see shape, texture, color—you can’t see where your highlights fall. The reality is hair changes when it’s dry. A lot. Even length changes from wet to dry because hair shrinks. When hair is dry, you can see it all. You can see everything from density to damage, and all of that is important to take into account to get the best cut.
