This Thursday, young artists and their families joined Painting Pandas and at Gus Garcia District Park for Movies in the Park, where participants wove their own threads into a magical “honmoon”-inspired community weaving. Inspired by the spirit gate from KPop Demon Hunters and the work of contemporary artist Sheila Hicks, every family added their own shimmering touch to a one-of-a-kind fiber art project. To the families who joined us, thank you. Your support makes hands-on creative experiences like this possible. We would love to see your child’s artwork, please feel free to tag us so we can celebrate their creativity!
