Upon hearing the elevator pitch for the game,
Michelle (born and raised in the Sunshine State) said, “Yeah, that tracks.”

It’s that time of year again! Todd and Michelle are helping with Mythos Houston’s Cthulhu LARP at OwlCon in Houston on the Rice University campus.

The game is on Feb 29th, but the con goes all weekend. (Feb. 28 - March 1)

“Badge Only” for the weekend is $25 and “Saturday Badge Only” for Saturday is $18. It doesn’t cost extra to play the Cthulhu LARP.

The setting this year is a political press conference in California in 1978. Break out your polyester pantsuits and wide ties!

You can reserve a character ahead of time. (Open from Tuesday 2/18 -- Friday 2/21)
Here's how it works:

1) Register for Owlcon at owlcon.com

2) Register for our game using Owlcon’s system on that website

3) Go to the Mythos Houston Facebook group and follow the link in the pinned post to the Character Selection Google Doc. Select a “*” character with their character code highlighted.

4) Once you have selected a character, put your name in a comment on that character. For contested selections, we go off of the timestamp of the comment.

5) Sit back. A keeper will finish the reservation.

“Monopoly: Gamer” is just Nintendo themed. It really plays more like a Mario Kart boardgame with a Monopoly-themed overlay than Monopoly with Nintendo theming. I really enjoyed it.
