Earlier this year, the Texas Women’s Basketball team advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight for the third time in four seasons, adding another accolade to their impressive record. More than a hundred years prior, however, pioneering female basketball players were carving out some history of their own. Basketball first came to the Forty Acres in 1899. Beginning in physical education classes and then developing into organized team sport, the women played their first games in a library-turned-gymnasium in the former Main Building, years before the men's team formed. INGREDIENTS
2 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
1/2 oz orange liqueur
3 oz orange juice
2 oz cranberry juice or pomegranate juice
1 peach, peeled and pitted
DIRECTIONS
Peel and pit the peach.
Blend Tito's Handmade Vodka, orange liqueur, orange juice, and peach together until smooth.
Pour into a glass with ice.
Drizzle in cranberry juice or pomegranate juice.
