It’s been a while, friends! We got lost in the rollercoaster and forgot why we had come together to make videos under catnip creative.

We remembered the whole point was amplifying the voices of independent artists, particular all of the the freaky/unconventional/queer/nonbinary/experimental artists who are underrepresented in mainstream media.


Financial means shouldn’t be a barrier to creating video content, so we’re back with renewed energy to find ways to create and fund projects for independent artists.


Anything we’ve made so far has been due to the support of Austin’s creative community, and we just want to say thank you and we love you❤️

We’ve been plugging away at some sexy stuff this winter, and will be releasing more videos for yall soon.

BTS from a White Lightning music video we were invited to work on last week. Was a needed country foray where Angela rounded up all the stray cats, Gibson made our wildest fantasies come true, Joshua created heartwarming chaos, Magic and Josh showed us what it means to be masters of craft, Laura showed us expressions we'd never seen a face make, and Kate led us into dreamland with her camera toys. Much love and lets do it again.

Some of our photos got published in PCMA Convene Magazine for a feature on Jason Holley and his team from ArtCenter College of Design. Congrats Jason, your stage sets were visual masterpieces and very fun to photograph!
