Our day in SMA. Rooftop guacamole, weddings, trees growing out of cobblestone, weird door knocker, and gardens. 🇲🇽

My morning garden. Who knew jade plants bloomed? Only saw 10+ hummingbirds this morning.

Time for a nice vacation in San Miguel de Allende. We left home at 4am, flew to Mexico City, taxied to the bus station, bussed to SMA, and joined a lively group for dinner. Nice, long day.

A City Steeped in History
San Miguel de Allende is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it's easy to see why. The town's cobblestone streets, well-preserved colonial architecture, and vibrant colors transport visitors back in time to Mexico's colonial past. Explore the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, an iconic pink church, and the historic El Jardín, the central square filled with cafes and markets.
