College is going to a school to study many different things and earn a degree, while an apprenticeship is where you get a job and learn a specific skill while working with a mentor. Both can lead to successful and fulfilling careers but they are different ways to reach your goals.

Choosing the path that feels right for you and your interests is essential.

When you go to college, you often have to pay for your education, and it might take a while before you start making money in your chosen career.

With an apprenticeship, you can earn money while learning a specific skill, and you typically don't have to pay for your education. So, financially, apprenticeships can be a more practical choice for some people who want to start working and earning sooner without taking on a lot of debt.

Today we celebrated our electrical cohort graduation. We have 9 wonderful graduates all looking to start their apprenticeship the upcoming semester and we are so excited to see where they will go next. This is only the beginning!🥳🥳🥳

Friday, October 27th, we will be hosting our CPT Graduation in Austin at 10 a.m. and our CPT Graduation in San Marcos at 1 p.m.

Students learn about manufacturing safety, quality practices & measurement, manufacturing processes & production, and maintenance awareness.

The course includes hands-on skills with a CNC mill, soldering station, 3-D printer, VR headsets, and the Skill Boss. The course also includes OSHA-10 safety, Lean Six Sigma White Belt, HAAS CNC, and Forklift certifications.

Students will demonstrate their knowledge through science fair projects at graduation, including using 3D printers, virtual reality technology, CNC machines, and more.
