Adjusting to a new reality in the wake of a disaster is a difficult process, but it does not have to be navigated alone. Stress levels may rise, making it difficult to figure out next steps for survivors and their families. In addition to the supportive techniques listed in this post, external supports like the Crisis Counseling Program (CCP) provide emotional support to survivors of disaster. 📆 Save The Date! Integral Care will be hosting a free, virtual Mental Health First Aid training on Friday, June 26, 2026. This training module will be for Youth MHFA.

Mental Health First Aid gives people the tools they need to be present for friends, family, colleagues, and community members. This particular module will include information to best support youth and young adults aged 12-18 and 18-25 who may be in the early stages of a mental health problem or experiencing a crisis.

We had a fantastic strategy session recently, and we were so glad to have Lance from our Ops team and Pat from our board join the huddle this time. We covered a lot of exciting ground, including getting a sneak peek at our new website, launching a dedicated Gen Z strategy, and diving into our pending and new grant applications to help fuel our mission.

One of our biggest takeaways? We are shifting a major focus toward video. Going forward, you’ll be seeing a lot more faces, stories, and video content integrated into almost everything we share.
