Kittypalooza Tour is coming home to Austin Animal Services on Saturday, June 27th! Event attendees get early access to our shelter to meet adorable kittens and take home the purr-fect family member.

Austin Animal Services will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.
If you've been thinking about adding a pet to your family, now is a great time to visit. Adoption fees for available pets are just $19 through June as part of our Summer Adoption Special. 🥰
Regular shelter hours resume Saturday, June 20.

As part of our program, Wrangler is one of our amazing senior dogs looking for either an adopter or a foster home. Senior pets have so much love to give and often make wonderful companions!

Austin Animal Services will be CLOSED on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.
While the shelter will be closed to the public, the pets in our care will continue receiving daily care from staff. Normal business hours will resume on Saturday, June 20.
As we approach the holiday closure, we continue to ask our community for help creating much-needed space in our overcrowded shelter. Hundreds of dogs, cats, and other animals are waiting for homes, and every adoption helps relieve pressure on kennel space.
🐾 Adoption fees are just $19 from June 13–21!
Looking for a new companion? We have dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, parakeets, chickens, and more waiting to meet you.

Lilac (24417), a petite 2-year-old with plenty of personality. Lilac arrived at Austin Animal Services in April and found shelter life overwhelming. Since moving into a foster home, she has blossomed into a playful, sweet companion whose confidence grows every day.
Lilac needs to find an adopter or new foster home soon so she doesn't have to return to the shelter!
