Hello to all! I'm Mylo, founder of OPP and welcome to our page.
Here is what OPP is about:
We will be holding monthly team buildings to build camaraderie, improve mental and physical resilience, and help veterans integrate into civilian life. These team buildings are free to all veterans. civilians can join for a fee. If you volunteer, you will be given a free pass to a future team building. This is military style in nature but are for all fitness levels. You will have to figure out how to work together to complete tasks. There are mental and physical aspects to it. Cant do physical stuff? No problem you can shine during the mental challenges.
We will also be an umbrella for other veteran non profits. We will meet quarterly to exchange ideas, resources and information. We will also pass on the other non-profits information to the veterans that join our group.
OPP will also host workshops using CNC Laser, woodworking and Routers. We will teach you skills to build DIY projects to sell, so you can create a side business for yourself. In turn you will learn enough to teach other veterans. We will also teach you how to scale that business. Projects include: concealment cases, rustic flags, patch holders, signs and so on. Space is limited and you must sign up for the classes.
There will be free fitness classes for veterans onsite. And we will hold you accountable. The fitness classes are military style mixed with crossfit (no high risk moves), mixed with cardio, (Mylo workouts) but geared to everyone's fitness level. We will also have free online classes that include videos for every exercise that you will do during the workout. So anyone anywhere can do them, even if your deployed!
Once a quarter we will be holding a 6hr, or 12hr endurance event. Upon completion you receive a patch. The Endurance event will b
