Texas had a rough time of it during last week’s winter storm. The OLDT household was no exception here in Austin, with a 67 hour power failure and no water. Luckily for us, I have a crippling addiction to Harbor Freight Tools, and my wife is an obsessive candle-hoarder! These small Harbor Freight lights were a godsend, being hung in every room and even on our clothing. The Braun LED rechargeable wand was extremely bright, and those trusty Hardy mechanics gloves protected my hands while I chopped firewood. Thanks Harbor Freight!

I’m still alive y’all, but my current project for the channel is TAKING FOREVER. Lotsa parts, lotsa precision. After this one I’m going to have to give my brain a break! Maybe I’ll polish a hammer or something.

If y'all were wondering why I'm not making videos with my usual power tools in the workshop, it's because of the covid-19 situation. Power tools are kind of dangerous, and now is not the time to be going to the ER. Doctors and nurses have enough on their plate these days! I'll be back at it when this has calmed down a bit.
