Summer nights are shorter, warmer and harder to sleep through than most people expect. If your sleep has felt off lately that is probably why.

For a limited time the Audicin Sleep Headband is 20% off. $299 $239 at shop.audicin.com — link in bio.

HRV gets talked about a lot. But most people who track it have never been told that sound can move it.

Heart rate variability is the variation in time between your heartbeats and it is one of the clearest windows we have into how well your nervous system is actually coping. Higher HRV means you are adaptable, recovering well and operating with resilience. Lower HRV means the system is under strain — even if you cannot feel it yet.

What the science shows is that sound interacts directly with the mechanisms that drive HRV. Rhythm and tempo influence breathing rate without any conscious effort, a process called physiological entrainment. Phrasing shapes the length of each breath cycle. Dynamics shift the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. All passively, all while you go about your day.

In an independent study with frontline nurses, Audicin users saw a 21.9% increase in HRV across two weeks of regular use. Statistically significant. The most responsive physiological marker in the entire study.

111ms by the way is an excellent HRV score. Thanks to our friend for sharing hers

Last week Victoria paid a visit to Feel Good Studio Kalasatama while she was in Helsinki for Arctic15.

She tried the red light therapy and spent time with the team understanding the experience from the inside. That kind of first hand knowledge matters to us. It is hard to build something truly useful for a space you have never been in.

The visit gave us some valuable perspective on how our HBOT Soundscape journey sits within the full Feel Good experience and we have since made adjustments to make it more optimal for their clients. Small changes, meaningful difference.

This is what working with our clinic partners actually looks like. We show up, we listen and we keep improving. We are proud to support the team at Feel Good Studio Kalasatama and grateful for the ongoing collaboration.

Petrichor. If you do not know the word you know the feeling. That first breath of rain on dry earth. Something in your brain immediately recognises it and shifts.

That is exactly what this track is built around. Not the smell, but the shift. Beta waves at 17 Hz, medium tones, designed for the hours when you need to be fully present and fully on.

Put it on at the start of your next work session and see what happens.

Petrichor by Eylía is available now on Audicin. Link in bio.

We had an amazing time at

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared their ideas, and connected with us over the past two days. We met so many inspiring founders, investors, and innovators, and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead.

Looking forward to staying in touch and seeing where these new connections lead. 🚀

Sleep is one of those things where the obvious culprits get all the attention. The less obvious ones do the most damage.

Cortisol that never fully drops is one of the biggest. For anyone running at a high tempo, the stress hormone that kept you sharp all day often has no clear signal that the day is over. It just keeps going, even when your body is done.

Body temperature is another one most people miss. Your body needs to cool down to initiate deep sleep and anything that keeps your core temperature elevated — a late training session, a glass of wine, a warm room — delays that process by hours.

And then there is the phone. Which you already knew about. The blue light matters but the bigger issue is the dopamine loop that keeps your brain in a low-grade alert state long after you put it down.

Each of these has a fix. Full breakdown in the carousel. Save it for tonight.

We have some exciting news ahead of Arctic15 this week.

Audicin has been selected as a Top 100 Innovation Honoree at the 100 Innovations — Shaping the Future Awards 2026 at Arctic15 Helsinki.

What makes this one feel meaningful is how companies are selected. This is not a pitch competition. Selection is based on technical validation, measurable traction and proof of ex*****on. The science and the evidence we have built around Audicin is what got us here and that is exactly how we want to earn recognition.

We will be at the Cable Factory on June 11 and 12. Come and find us at the booth.

The session is done. Now comes the part that makes it stick.

Most athletes put everything into the training and then move straight on with the day. But the 30 minutes after you stop are when your body actually adapts. When the nervous system starts to rebalance and the work you just did begins to settle in.

Cool Down for Athletes is a new Audicin journey built for exactly that window. Gentle soundscapes that move from alpha to theta, encouraging deeper breathing and the gradual release of physical tension. No technique required. Just press play and let the sound do the rest.

Available now in the Audicin app. Link in bio.

You know the feeling. It is late, you are exhausted, and you are still scrolling. Not because anything on the screen is actually interesting. Just because you cannot seem to stop.

Most people assume this is a discipline problem. Something to feel guilty about and fix with more willpower. But what is actually happening is much more interesting than that.

Your nervous system is looking for a signal that the day is over. And the phone, with its constant stream of new information, small emotional triggers and blue light, is the worst possible thing you could hand it. Each scroll delivers a micro hit of dopamine that keeps the brain in a low grade alert state. Melatonin gets suppressed. Cortisol stays elevated. The window for deep, restorative sleep quietly closes while you are lying there convincing yourself you are winding down.

The 10 minutes before sleep are genuinely the highest leverage moment in your recovery. Not the training session, not the nutrition, not the supplement stack. The transition from activation to rest. For athletes and high performers this is where the quality of tomorrow is decided.

Sound works differently to screens. Instead of stimulating the brain it gives the nervous system a pattern it already knows how to follow. Rhythm, phrasing, frequency — these are inputs your autonomic system responds to directly, without you having to do anything consciously. The shift from sympathetic to parasympathetic starts happening on its own.

Not magic. Just neuroscience. And a lot quieter than your feed.

Your brain is not always in the same place. And what it needs on a Monday morning before a presentation is not the same as what it needs at 11pm when sleep won't come.

That is the whole idea behind binaural beats. Different frequencies do genuinely different things. And once you know which state you are in, choosing the right sound takes about five seconds.

Delta sits between 0.5 and 4 Hz and is your deep rest and sleep frequency. If your mind is still running when your body is ready to stop, this is where you start.

Theta sits between 4 and 8 Hz and brings the kind of calm that lets you actually process what the day left behind. Stress release, emotional unwinding, creative thought. It is the frequency of genuine decompression.

Alpha sits between 8 and 12 Hz and is the everyday sweet spot most people never knew they were missing. Calm but present, clear but not wired. Good for steady focus without pressure.

Beta sits between 12 and 30 Hz and is where your brain lives when it is performing well. Use it before anything that demands your attention, your energy or your best.

Gamma is 30 Hz and above and is the sharpest tool in the kit. High cognition, fast thinking, elevated clarity. Keep sessions under 30 minutes and let it do its job.

The best part is you do not have to do anything with it. No breathing technique, no focus, no effort. Put your headphones in, pick your state and let the sound take your brain where it needs to go.

All five frequencies are on Audicin now. Try free for 30 days — link in bio.
