We are forever behind on updates but here’s the start of our final project for 2024 - a zero compromise, full send GT4 RS track build.
It’s stripped down and ready for a large pile of upgrades including aero, suspension, brakes, wheels/tires, safety and data. Power mods will follow in 2025.
We just finished a similar build on another 4RS and will post that up soon.

This 992 GT3 RS came through for our last chassis setup before Chin Track Days at COTA this weekend.
We made a quick ride height adjustment before swapping shims out for our preferred configuration. This allows us to not only hit our target alignment specs (full send in this case), but also puts the suspension geometry on the happier side of its range.

This Dundon “Lab Rat” build stopped by for chassis setup after Felix at Saga Motorsports completed a full catalog build for a customer. This included considerably more than the usual lineup of Motion Control and Dundon suspension components, adding a full aero package as well as a power package and a few other mods.
The word on the street is that a pro driver or two will be turning laps at COTA in this car soon, so we are looking forward to seeing what it can do!

The two month summer break in COTA’s HPDE events roughly translates to “MCS build season” in the shop, and this 718 GT4 was next in line for Motion Control Suspension 3 way dampers.
The customer had some of the parts already but we ended up making a few changes during the build to make sure that the final product matched their goals with the car. The first being the Swift Springs spring rates which were changed from race rates to Dundon Motorsports track rates.
The rest of the changes were to allow proper and safe chassis setup and track use. In the end we installed camber plates with strut tower reinforcements, front tension arms (highly recommended for track use as stock GT4 arms can snap where they meet the lower control arm), rear toe arms, alignment shims, wheel studs and a 718 EDC delete kit.
The final step, as always, was a BSM spec chassis setup tailored to the customer for COTA.

We delivered another track spec GT3 a few days ago, and one that is a bit special to us! We might have the most time under this car than any other GT car under its previous owner from 2020-2024.
It sold earlier this year but it found a great home and its new owner brought the car back to us for some solid track upgrades.
It’s now sitting on Motion Control Suspension 3 way dampers and Dundon Motorsports control arms including camber plates, tension arms, rear control arms, and front/rear inner lower control arms, converting the car over to full spherical.
We also mounted a fresh set of Hoosier R7s using our new “bead bonding” process which dramatically reduces the tendency for the R7s to spin on the wheel during track use. We have tested this on race prepped GT cars as well as the heavier G8X BMWs, and rotation has been reduced by over 90% and in some cases completely eliminated. We’ll do another post on this soon.
The last step in this process is always a BSM spec chassis setup and we dialed the alignment, shims, corner balance and ride height in to 10/10ths so the car can continue to turn solid laps at COTA. But faster than ever!

Heavy hitters.
Saga Motorsports brought their two 992 GT3 RS’ by for chassis setup after installing recently released Dundon Motorsports front suspension components.
We can put a solid “max shim” track setup on a stock 992 GT3/3RS, which works solid for many customers. But for those who are looking to push these cars to the absolute limits (especially on R compound tires), altering the front suspension geometry allows us to increase the camber range beyond what the factory deemed appropriate, while also allowing us to fine tune the caster to match. The result is more grip and faster lap times.
Our setups are always evolving and in the case of the two cars pictured we did slightly different specs on each. We will use driver feedback and data from Saga to determine if there are areas that we can tweak further.

We were honored to be a part of the first MPACT Motorsports Festival at COTA, they knocked it out of the park and we are already looking forward to the next one!
The icing on the cake of the weekend: The Saga 992 GT3 RS won best exotic 😎
Huge thanks to the customers and crew that came and sweat with us all day to support the shop and represent our sliver of the Austin Motorsports community. We are a predominantly word of mouth shop and are incredibly fortunate to have a small but growing part in it!
