What better way to close out Mother’s Day than by celebrating our May Illustrator Spotlight, Yvonne Weng! 🌷
Yvonne is an Austin-based comic artist whose playful, slice-of-life comics are inspired by the everyday chaos of parenting, pets, and family life. Through humor and visual storytelling, she captures the little moments that make life memorable.
Read her thoughts below, and be sure to follow her on socials or visit her website to see more of her comics and illustrations! ✨
“I make playful, silly drawings and comics pulled from real life — usually starring my young kids and cats. Visual storytelling is a deep love of mine, and something I’m always working to get better at. I like finding the humor in everyday moments, and I hope that comes through in my art. My goal this year is to artistically explore more, build up a portfolio, and see where it takes me.”
