Being assertive is a sign of courage and confidence! You stand up for yourself in an honest and effective way while still respecting those around you.
Many people misunderstand being assertive with being aggressive and this is when we need to kindly educate people that being assertive is a way of communicating efficiently and diplomatically. People who communicate assertively are respectful of others and their opinions whereas people who are aggressive violate the rights of others by being verbally or physically abusive.

Strong and Independent!
Starting my own medical practice presented many challenges but by surrounding myself with the people that love and support me, the sky seems approachable now. Being strong means recognizing when to ask for help and when to provide help.
My journey has just begun and it all started after realizing that working in a place where you are unhappy and underappreciated is not where you want to place your energy. Put that energy into the things that you are passionate about and no matter where you are or where you go happiness will follow!
Love my job!
So appreciative and humbled for being in a position to help others, even at their most vulnerable.
Thank you 😊
