💉 Getting Ready for Your IV Infusion? Here’s how to prep like a pro:
✨ Hydrate – Drink plenty of water the day before and day of your infusion. It helps with vein access!
🧘♀️ Rest Well – A good night’s sleep makes a big difference. Fatigue is real.
🥪 Eat Something Light – Don’t go in on an empty stomach (unless instructed otherwise).
👕 Dress Comfortably – Loose sleeves = easy access. Layers help if the clinic is cold.
📱 Bring Comfort Items – Bring a phone, headphones, blanket, or even your favorite book. Distraction can ease anxiety and make time fly.
📋 Know Your Meds – Have a list of your current medications ready and take your medicines unless instructed otherwise.
Your comfort matters. A little prep goes a long way! 💪

ADVANCES in MS
Over the past five years, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) research has seen remarkable advancements, offering new hope to those affected by the disease.
B-cell Therapies: Dr. Stephen Hauser's pioneering research identified the crucial role of B cells in MS progression, leading to the development of therapies like Ocrevus, Briumvi, and Kesimpta. This treatment has significantly reduced relapse rates and slowed disease progression in patients.
Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) Connection: Dr. Alberto Ascherio's extensive study demonstrated a strong link between EBV infection and the onset of MS, suggesting that EBV may be a leading risk factor for the disease.
Stem Cell Therapy: Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy has shown promise in clinical trials by improving MS symptoms, reducing relapse frequency, and slowing disease progression, offering a potential new avenue for treatment.
These breakthroughs mark significant progress in understanding and treating MS, bringing us closer to more effective therapies and, ultimately, a cure.
