I cut my teeth milling lumber. Working the jointer and planer in my father's custom door shop. Spending the summer turning rough lumber into perfectly square stock and sweeping the floor. Spent years away from the shop working on a framing crew, building custom cabinets, fabricating elevator interiors, trimming out custom homes, and finishing out restaurants. Flip on the dust collector, fire up the jointer, and I'm home.
