Interest rates are causing homes to take longer to sell, but strong employment is keeping home prices from falling. Interest rates and home prices are not coming down any time soon! If you are thinking of moving, now is as good a time as any. Call me if you would like to talk it over.

Austin ranks No. 1 on best US housing markets for growth, stability list According to a new study, 12 of the top 20 U.S. cities that ranked as being the best housing markets for growth and stability were in Texas, and six Texas cities made the top 10.

Multiple offers are back. Sure, inventory is up to 12 weeks (as opposed to 6 weeks this time last year), but that is still a STRONG seller's market. After a short hiatus in 4Q2022, price pressure is back to pushing upward, but in a more sustainable fashion than the past two years.

As long as jobs keep being created here, we need more housing than the construction industry can provide for the people that need to relocate for these jobs. If you are looking to sell, this is a good time. If you are looking to buy, things will not be any less expensive for the foreseeable future.
