Big Fish had a great first day at sectionals! Congrats to Ralph on hitting his junior national cut in the 1000 and to Jade for breaking the Utah 15-16 200 fly record! Here’s to some fast swimming on day ✌️

Big Fish are KILLING it down at Senior State! Day 1 and we had lots of best times this morning and lots of swimmers back for finals tonight. Congrats to Ralph Fiscus for taking 1st place in the 500 free, Jade Garstang first place in the 200 IM, and our first place girls 400 medley relay of Natty, Roni, Jade and Brooklyn! Go Big Fish!

Our swimmer of the week is NTG swimmer Blake Abney! 🎉

His latest exciting swims: Blake went 1:04.0 100 breast and 2:05.9 200 IM last week at region, dropping 1.5 seconds in his breast and 5 seconds in his 200 IM!

We are starting a Novice Group! This is our version of a pre-comp team. We’ve wanted to start something for our little littles for so long and we’re happy to offer something as a way to ease into club swimming. Check out more info here on the flyer!

Our swimmer of the week, McKinley (aka KinnerBug)!!!
McKinley is a J1 at Treehouse.
- Her favorite thing to do at practice is EVERYTHING.
- Backstroke is her favorite stroke.
- She's in third grade.
- Her goal is to go to state.
- Her favorite thing about swimming is that she doesn't have to do chores while she's at practice.
- She plays piano and speaks
Chinese when she's not in the pool.

WFFM presents: Swimmer of The Week!!!

Our very first swimmer of the week is Ethan Brown, an Advanced Junior at JL Sorenson!

Favorite Stroke: Butterfly
He loves to play water polo and go mountain biking when he is not swimming.
He recently came into a meet with a 30.82 and left with a 27.72. He broke 30, 29, and 28 all in one go! He started the season with a 1:08.56 & two meets later is swimming a 1:00.82!

Great job, Ethan!

Over the top proud of these two in their first Jr National meet. Excited for what the next couple years bring for both of them and their teammates! Thank you Austin for a great weekend and to for taking care of us! -Ron

Arizona dump!

Our newest Junior National qualifier, Roni Black! Roni went 1.02.6 tonight in her 100 breast and is heading to Texas next weekend for more!

And finally…

Ashlyn Lockwood leaves us this year to continue her studies at Brigham Young University in the fall!

I only get to say this about one athlete in my coaching career, so hear it goes: SHE IS MY FAVORITE!!! ALL TIME!!!

I had so much fun coaching Ashlyn, as did every coach that got to be a part of her career. There has rarely been a more coachable and mature swimmer! Your friendship, leadership, and smile will be missed! Share who you are proudly down in Provo!

Ryan Watt is leaving Fish Market after a long time with us to attend the University of Utah in the fall.

Ryan came back from the COVID break with a new excitement and fire that was unmatched in the group! His work ethic and kind nature made him an incredible leader within our National Training Group.

Ryan is a passionate friend and I will always appreciate the smile he brought with him to the pool everyday. Thanks Ryan for all that you were to our Fish Market family!!!
