We spent our 4th celebrating a successful final run of the show before moving into the theater with sparklers, rather than fighting off Mind Flayers and spies at the mall - we think it was a wise decision 😌

Stranger things are happening here in Austin! After one week of rehearsals down, there are just three weeks left until “Stranger Sings!” opens at Trinity Street Playhouse! We’re proud to have a two-weekend run for the first time in Speedrun history. We’ve got an amazing show on our hands, so click the ticket link in our bio and come join us in the Upside Down!

• “Stranger Sings!” is rated PG-13 for adult humor, including simulated cigarette use and jokes of a sexual nature, as well as mature language and perilous (though humorous) moments.

⚔️ Ghost sightings, sword fighting, vengeful plots, and evil men in power meeting the ends they deserve: this “HAMLET” tells the struggles of noble youth of past, from the voices facing the struggles of today.

💀🎭Speedrun’s first foray into the works of William Shakespeare is seeking young technicians, designers and theatre leaders of all disciplines to join our team in February/March 2025! Acting Auditions will be dropping very soon, but you can join the audition page TODAY!

This adaptation of the Shakespearean classic will feature a cut down, slightly modernized version of the original text, and will be casting a group of only 8 performers of any gender identity, in any role. Already announced creative team members are Director, Austin Civatte (.civ) and Fight Choreographer Clint Lienau (), with more to come! We look forward to launching this unique new collaboration.
