Sotol is a rugged desert plant native to Texas and the Southwest, known for thriving in harsh climates with very little water. After harvesting, the leftover fibers and plant material make an excellent long-term mulch that helps retain moisture, regulate soil temperature, reduce weeds, and enrich the soil over time. A sustainable Texas-grown solution for healthier gardens and landscapes. 🌵♻️

Don’t toss your old soil—re-amend it and bring it back to life. Add compost, nutrients, and organic matter to recharge it so it’s ready for the next grow. Healthy soil can be reused again and again.

Your worms arrived but you can’t put them in just yet? Not to worry.

Worms naturally avoid light — it’s a survival instinct that keeps them safe from predators and drying out. 🪱

When you introduce worms into a new system, you can actually use light to your advantage. A simple light source over the surface encourages them to burrow down and settle into the bedding instead of wandering. It’s a gentle way to guide them where you want them without disturbing the system.
