On Monday, May 25th, we here at Canje will host our dearest friends at our FOURTH annual Block Party and YOU’RE INVITED!
To celebrate our incredible community, we’ve got even more chef’s this year! Eat your way through different cuisines, with dishes from Bob Somsith of Laod Bar (Austin), Nicola Massey of Jerk Shack (San Antonio), Ope Amosu of Chop n’ Blok (Houston), & Grace Aguilar of Five O Four (Austin), and Canje of course!
The island vibes will be immaculate with music by Jamie Dredd and the All the Vibes crew, as well as activities like face painting for the kids, Dominos for the competitive, plus 3 unique bars for the grown-ups.
NEW THIS YEAR: an exclusive VIP area. Hang with our DJ in a private seating area with access to a VIP bar featuring a unique VIP-only cocktail!

Our hearts are full ❤️ We just wanted to express our gratitude again for everyone who was down to dine in, give back last month. ✨ Together we raised $61,663.31 for & the Bristol-Joseph Culinary Scholarship! Thank you for helping us surpass our goal (as well as nearly double last year’s amount) and give back to the community. It’s such a wonderful feeling 💗

Happy Birthday to our General Manager, Erika Wong! Wishing you all the best today and always. We're so glad to have you on our team!
Her favorite thing about this industry is that "Food and drink is about sharing stories, vulnerability, and connection. I love being in a space where you can witness people fall in love, catch up, and celebrate.There really isn't anything like it!"
When we asked her to share the best piece of advice anyone has ever given her, she told us how "Chasing after fleeting happiness can turn up empty but finding meaningfulness brings an enduring state of joy and acceptance."
Her go to comfort food is any noodle soup but mainly Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup and Pho. Her hobbies include gossiping with her friends and swimming at Barton Springs! She loves doing anything outside in the sun whether it's relaxing or moving around.
