Grateful for our community! 💛
Hear from one of our members:
“This is an amazing resource for those of us who found ourselves struggling with classes after cancer surgeries and ongoing effects. The yoga and cardio sessions that I have been attending have opened up and stimulated areas of my body that I thought were inaccessible forever. The most important benefit to me is the friendly, welcoming course leaders; they have been outstanding in their instruction and support. I have never found anything as beneficial and inclusive as this. I feel safe and in the best possible hands. Thank you!”

Why exercise during cancer treatment? Here are 3 powerful reasons:
1️⃣ Boost your mood: Movement releases endorphins, helping you feel better—mind, body, and spirit.
2️⃣ Support your health: Getting your blood flowing is great for lymphatic health and can play a role in cancer prevention.
3️⃣ Stay connected: Exercise is a way to tune in to your body at every stage of life. Whether you’re in treatment or supporting a loved one, moving together can strengthen bonds and offer moments of hope.
No matter where you are on your journey, every step counts. Let’s move, heal, and connect—together.

Yoga Class - In Person with Nanette
Come join us for a special in-person yoga class with the amazing Nanette at Studio 103! Yoga 4 Cancer (Y4C)
Nanette’s Yoga 4 Cancer (Y4C) class is designed specifically for cancer patients and survivors, offering a supportive and healing environment.
A vinyasa based class, props are used to create adaptive yoga poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices to support the body’s healing process and manage side effects of cancer treatment.
Whether you are currently undergoing treatment, or years beyond your diagnosis, this class provides a safe space to build strength, flexibility, and resilience. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of participants, with modifications and personalized attention to ensure comfort and safety. Seasoned yogis and complete beginners will find a welcoming space here.
Meet Nanette Labastida:
Nanette is currently a stage 4 cancer thriver. After an initial breast cancer diagnosis in 2010, she found a new way to approach her long-time yoga practice — with more gentleness, self care and a deep acceptance for her new outlook and body.
A more recent diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer prompted her to focus on Yoga 4 Cancer with a 75-hour specialization in oncology yoga.
Knowing that movement is key for managing side effects and symptoms, Nanette’s yoga teachings are a mix of vinyasa and adaptive postures that are accessible for all.
Her support transcends the yoga practice. She offers personalized attention and modifications to ensure comfort and safety. She has a warm, encouraging demeanor and a deep, first-hand understanding of the challenges of those affected by cancer.
Join her for a transformative experience fostering healing, hope, and renewed vitality.
