On Sunday, July 6th, 2025, at 12:12 p.m. Riverside Fire Department and Riverside Police Department responded to Olivewood Avenue and Pachappa Drive for a reported car that went off the roadway, down and embankment about 30 feet and landed upside down on the railroad tracks. When units arrived at the scene, they found one vehicle on the tracks and one patient still inside the vehicle. Riverside Fire Department immediately requested that the tracks and all trains be halted. The patient had to be extricated from the vehicle, and using the hoist from Riverside Fire Department Truck 3, was lifted out of the railroad track area and up to level ground where the driver was transported to local area hospital by ground AMR. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. EDL HOS CSA what makes trucking safer ??

the ELD is not the problem the main problem is the HOS hour of service
since when did it become safe to have drivers race against the clock ?? before the HOS change the old HOS were correct i use to run 5 on 5 off take my time and enjoy the ride now a driver cant do that now a driver has to run harder faster and hopes for a parking place at the end of there daily run . this causes more stress and accidents due to fatigued drivers along with the CSA these two HOS and CSA only causes unsafe practices on the road
