Tango Concert - Celebrating Latin American Music with a Tango Twist An-all-star quintet and solo lead singers will light up the night with world-premiere arrangements by Norberto Vogel from Buenos Aires.

May 04th Austin and May 08 Houston - Tango Concert featuring Andrew Corral. Andrew began playing the violin at the age of 10 in San Antonio. He attended the University of Texas at Austin on scholarship for violin performance where he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees under the tutelage of Brian Lewis. In his professional career, Andrew has played with orchestras around the country including the New World Symphony in Miami, the Phoenix Symphony, the Crested Butte Music Festival orchestra, the San Antonio Symphony, the Waco Symphony Orchestra, the Austin Symphony Orchestra and Austin Lyric Opera, and the Dallas Chamber Symphony.

Andrew spent 2019-2022 as the assistant orchestra director at LASA high school and is currently in his second year as the assistant orchestra director at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School where he also maintains a studio of private students. In his free time, Andrew loves hanging with his wife and dogs, eating good food, and riding his onewheel in which he is actually a professional sponsored rider!

Tango Concert May 04 Austin Texas Featuring Dr. Rylie Harrod - Favorite performances have been sharing the stage with Yo Yo Ma, the Dallas String Quartet, Guster, Ben Folds, The Eagles, and Third Eye Blind. Upcoming performances will be taking her to San Miguel, Mexico and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Trained to the highest level, Rylie holds a Bachelor’s degree from the world renowned Royal Academy of Music in London, a Masters degree from Arizona State University, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Texas.

Salvadoran pianist Eleazar, with an extensive international career, has been awarded in music competitions and festivals worldwide. He has performed as a soloist with symphony orchestras, in piano recitals, and with chamber ensembles in renowned concert halls across El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Mexico, the United States, Spain, Germany, Lithuania, and Russia.

His achievements include playing at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall, winning the Grand Prix at the “La Música del Siglo” Piano Competition (Costa Rica-Lithuania), performing as a soloist with the Kostroma Symphony Orchestra in Russia, and winning the Young Soloists Competition, allowing him to play with the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica. Alongside Costa Rican clarinetist Karlyn Salazar, he forms the Duo Contrastes, winners of the “Manuel M. Ponce” award at the Aguascalientes Chamber Music Festival in Mexi
