This is my grandmother, Sherry Davis.

She is a BADASS! She is Icelandic and a descendant of VIKINGS!

She has a deadly cancer that should've killed her long ago. She is amazingly resilient - so much in fact that doctors are studying her for her persistence and continued will to live. She survives her husband, George.

My grandmother enjoys her time in Jamul, CA on her ranch taking care of various animals - as pictured here, a small example of her exotic birds as she spoils them with some vanilla ice cream.

I love her dearly.
I post this social media post, that she will probably never know about, just because I LOVE MY GRANDMA. I think people should post more about their loved ones, especially their elders. Hug those that you love, I can't wait to visit her again.

My father took these photos on his weekly visit after they reconnected after many years apart. Thankful they have reestablished a meaningful relationship.
