Curves like this are worked out long before the roofline ever reads as effortless from above.

Steel, framing, layout, and patience. Every radius had to hold from the structure through the finished edge. Years of coordination reduced to one clean line sitting quietly in the landscape.

A few special moments and lots of smiles from last month’s 2026 DCC All Hands overnight event at Lucky Arrow Retreat.

Time spent learning, connecting, sharing ideas, and investing in the people behind the work.

Stone, timber, and steel, assembled with care and intention. Timeless materials chosen for how they age, and set with methods that respect their nature. A house built to endure, meant to be carried forward rather than replaced.

A cantilevered room reaching out toward the water, designed to feel suspended within the landscape beyond.

Our client lovingly refers to this space as his “napping room” and honestly, we understand why. A quiet place to pause, slow down, read a book, or simply take in the lake beyond. Yes, please.
