Today I’m celebrating the incredible dad my kids are lucky to have — and remembering my own, who I miss every day.

When something good happens creatively, I like to think my dad is behind the scenes, helping create the magic. His love is with me in every piece of art I create.

Spotted bluebonnets in Austin and felt inspired to create a pattern for Spoonflower’s Floral Block Print challenge! I kept it simple and sweet with a vintage-style block print stripe — and couldn’t resist making a matching tossed pattern too.
