Rebecca took a flying trapeze class in 2009 and has been obsessed with circus ever since. In addition to learning static and dance trapeze, she’s dabbled in pole, lyra, and handstands, and particularly enjoys dynamic movements regardless of the apparatus. After playing around on trapeze for over a decade, she’s recently begun to bring her love for this apparatus to the stage, sometimes as herself and sometimes as her alter ego, Violet Menace. She loves to tell stories onstage and is particularly drawn to portraying weird, silly, creepy, or q***r creatures.

Mallika is a DC native, former synchronized swimmer, and longtime yogi who got into pole to fulfill her childhood dream of becoming a bat. She stayed for the challenge of doing the ridiculous on purpose and occasionally making it look good. Physics continues to raise questions she refuses to answer. She moves through life asking one of her own: is it entertaining? Sometimes for others, but mostly for herself.

Alia is a Houston-based performer who took a pole class in college and accidentally joined the circus. She fell hard for contortion and now trains on any rope or metal apparatus she can get her hands on. When she’s not upside down, she’s reading for fun, lifting heavy things, or chasing her next hyperfixation. Her circus origin story begins with Percy Jackson and the Olympians, so really, this was inevitable.

Flex Fatale is an Austin-based performer who fuses a classical ballet background with contemporary circus arts. After a ballet career in the US and Europe, she found her way to aerial arts and pole in 2021. She aims to channel expressive movement, bringing strength, precision, and visual storytelling to every act. Offstage, she designs concepts and costumes that turn performance into a full sensory experience. Her work is grounded in discipline, shaped by instinct, and always chasing new ways to explore interactions of movement and music.

Olive Pitz has always aspired to become a horrifying 8-foot-tall creature, and is delighted to have that dream become reality in Divine Carnival. They love all things goofy, outlandish, and bizarre - So when they found the circus 3 years ago, they were instantly hooked. With a background in musical theatre, Olive loves character work, storytelling through movement, and over-the-top theatrics. While lyra is their home apparatus, they have performed on trapeze, cube, tippy lyra, and now for the first time… stilts!
